Great Day in Tampa!

Laurel Civic Teen Empowerment Program made a visit to the University of Tampa to allow the 10th & 11th Graders to explore the campus and learn about the programs UT offers. Alicia Williams, Director of the Youth Program at Laurel Civic stated that “I want the teens to know their options as they prepare for the future.” The visit was also attended by Executive Director Peter M. Casamento who along with Ms. Williams met with Nelka Diih, M.S. Assistant Director of Diversity Recruitment & Outreach, and Mr. Brent Benner, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management as Laurel Civic entered into a partnership to better students preparation as they discern college. Ms. Diih said “ We were so excited to host your amazing students and we look forward to a fruitful partnership.”
