Teen Empowerment Programs

The Laurel Civic Teen Empowerment Program (TEP) is a proactive prevention program designed to reach and engage our teens. We are dedicated to promoting programs that help empower teens to succeed by becoming lifelong learners, leaders, community role models, productive workers, and self-sufficient citizens. Teen empowerment helps support personal growth through character development.

The 2024 Summer Program starts on June 5th - July 27th.

Summer Camp Life Skills

Introducing Teen Empowerment—a unique, seven-week summer life skills program tailored for upcoming 9th to 12th-grade students. Embark on a journey of exploration into career paths and training opportunities aligned with individual interests and aptitudes. Delve into crucial topics such as personal finance, health, and wellness, among others. Every participant departs the program equipped with a comprehensive post-high school graduate plan.

To access all Laurel Civic Youth Programs, including this transformative camp, there is an Annual Membership Fee of $100, covering all associated costs. Additionally, we ensure that breakfast and lunch are provided.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, we're able to offer this program at a significantly reduced rate. We invite you to support our cause by sponsoring a teen or making a donation—every contribution, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference. Your generosity is deeply appreciated!
